Bill calls for State to exercise eminent domain

HONOLULU - The State Senate Committees on Judiciary and Hawaiian Affairs and on Water, Land and Agriculture, will be holding a joint hearing on Thursday, February 6, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. in Conference Room 229 in the State Capitol on SB 1561, Relating to Eminent Domain.

The bill calls for the State of Hawaii to exercise its right of eminent domain to take control of Coco Palms Resort and turn it into a cultural education park.
